Free indoor workshop

The FewDoIt project free balloon animals twisting workshop

The Lanherman family currently does not have a place to perform the free indoor workshop. However, we have done it many times at different locations. There are people and organizations around the world that provide free workshops. Some of them have provided contact info to our ARTIST DIRECTORY (click here). We provide a free copy of the e-book "Balloon-O-Therapy" for education  purposes to any organization that is interesting to run the free (indoor or outdoor) workshop.

The free balloon twisting workshop has two major goals. Learn balloon twisting and to make people happy.

Based on the goals of the workshop we suggest two steps model of a balloon twisting workshop.

The first part is learning—teaching. We assume that you don’t have a professional balloon twister on your payroll. That’s why we offer a free copy of our e-book “Balloon-O-Therapy”. This e-book is designed for self studying. It has comprehensive instructions of balloon sculptures with videos and photos. All you will need is balloons and practice. Certainly your studying progress would be faster and better if you do it in group with someone. You work together, show each other how you do the twists, share ideas and create new sculptures. The e-book will be handy but the group creative work is the greatest way to achieve the best results in learning at the shortest time and to keep it for longer. During the first part of the workshop you create many different balloon sculptures. It could take 30 minutes to make 5-10 sculptures depending on your personal skills. What are you going to do with all your art work after all? Yes, you can bring it at home or just give it to someone. Give it to someone for free!

The second part of the workshop begins here. It has name "Balloon-O-Therapy". We suggest you to make and give away your balloon sculptures to those who it makes happier. It’s as simple as that. Make the balloon sculpture and give it to someone. Who it would be doesn’t really matter. Say, if you happened to run the workshop at a medical facility, you may give it to visitors, patients or the medical staff. If it is a department store—give away your work to the shoppers. Or simply go on a street and give it away to the passerby. It may sound a bit silly for those who have never done it before but it does a very kind work to you and the person whom you give your art to. Most people like balloons and sure thing that a free unexpected balloon sculpture (even a small one) could make the day for many of us. You should be not surprised when people respond to your gift with kind word and sincere smile from very deep of their hearts. If you smile to yourself it means that you are happy. Teach people to make free balloons and you get many smiles, interest and respect of absolutely different people. You get a lot of positive energy. Your spirit will rise up under any depression or stress. It takes no much of your time or money to make yourself happy and many other people happy as well. That is what matters. That’s a way to live—be happy by making  people happy.

Our e-book “Balloon-O-Therapy” will help you to learn balloon twisting art. The art of being happy and share it with others you have to learn on your own. Well, not exactly on your own. We already made the first step to you.  You have to make the next step, step to people.

There is a short list of what you may need for the indoor workshop:

  • Willingness
  • A person-coordinator of your local workshop.
  • A room for people to gather. We assume that your company is the best place for it.
  • A computer is necessary only if you use the e-book “Balloon-O-Therapy” for the workshop.

You always welcome to try and share with us your own ideas how to do the workshop.
